The Amazing Spider-Man 2

An interview with director Marc Webb at Comic-Con divulged that the composer for the completed film will be none other than Hans. This would make it the 2nd time that he has replaced Danny Elfman on a superhero score after Batman. In this instance though, James Horner will not be continuing after scoring the first reboot. As the movie is already in post-production, this would be a case of the score being an obvious afterthought, and a question of what music is already in it being used for - read more -

The Bible

The highly watched (in the US) The Bible series premiered in Australia on Tuesday July 16th on the free to air Channel 9 at 9pm EST, with a double episode of the 10 part series, titled Beginnings Part 1 and 2, scoring the highest ratings for the night, and subsequent scheduling of a repeat on Saturday July 20th.
